Recovery Lab technicians takes care of Server and RAID loss
situations as high priority cases. We will recover your lost
data from corrupted RAID volume under almost any RAID disk
array configuration. An initial analysis will determine whether
each media device is accessible to our lab equipment. If so,
the main concern is to create a raw image of all data from
the attainable media onto DataHotline media so that logical
analysis can determine the nature of the data loss situation.
If some of the media is unattainable, our technicians will
test the mechanism and strongly examine its internal physical
condition to establish the level of physical damage. The recovery
of crashed hard disks frequently engages in failed or damaged
components in a clean environment and using specialized software
and hardware tools to generate the raw image. The failed mechanism
usually includes electronics, read or write heads, head assemblies,
magnets and drive motors.
Multiple-drive servers are usually 'destriped' onto DataHotline
media so that filesystem repairs can be performed and the
data files can be extracted. At times, the obtainable filesystem
structures are badly damaged or missing that the data has
to be taken out directly from one or more fragments of the
'destriped' image.
DataHotline Data Recovery Lab engineers have created a full
set of software tools utilized by our technicians to evaluate,
'destripe', fix and recover data from raw image drives from
all operating systems. Once the recovery has been successfully
performed, file lists are produced and the data validity is
checked.
The complication of many server operating systems, results
in additional data loss:
- RAID controller failure
- Server registry configuration lost
- Irregular drive failure resulting in configuration corruption
- Partitioning, formatting or boot-up problems
- Multiple drive failure
- Accidental reconfiguration of RAID drives
- Accidental replacement of media components
After determining what additional steps will be required
